(Alliance News) - Audioboom Group PLC said Monday Chief Executive Officer Rob Proctor left the podcasting platform firm with immediate effect, whilst the company emphasised it was trading well.
"The business is now entering a more mature phase and I believe that the time is now right for me to pursue more entrepreneurial opportunities," Proctor explained in a statement.
Audioboom Chief Operating Officer Stuart Last has been appointed as interim CEO until a permanent appointment is made.
Audioboom Chair Michael Tobin said: "Rob has taken Audioboom from a pre-revenue start-up to one of the world's top audio platforms. I wholeheartedly wish him the best for the future. He leaves behind a company in the best shape it has ever been and at the forefront of the burgeoning podcast industry."
The AIM-listed firm added that it continued to "perform well", a third quarter trading update is expected next Monday. Shares in Audioboom were 6.1% lower at 162.00 pence in London on Tuesday.
