(Alliance News) - Podcast company Audioboom Group PLC on Monday said it renewed its partnership with Australian Radio Network and expanded its creator network through commercial agreements with several "top-tier" podcasts.
ARN will monetise the company's advertising inventory in Australia. The country has become the third-largest region for advertising revenue for Audioboom creators since an initial partnership in 2020.
The partnership allows brands in Australia to access Audioboom's advertising products, including premium host-endorsement ads and targeted audience campaigns, through the Showcase automated advertising marketplace.
Audioboom is Australia's fourth-largest podcast publisher on Triton Digital's podcast report, delivering more than seven million downloads and 35 million available advertising impressions each month in the region.
Audioboom Chief Executive Officer Stuart Last said: "With Australia's deeply engaged podcast audience and ARN's proven capabilities, continuing this strategic relationship will provide our creators with the best commercial opportunities in the region - a key component to Audioboom's global podcast strategy."
Corey Layton, ARN's head of digital audio, said that the network was "thrilled to have extended our partnership [with Audioboom], bringing their high-quality content to listeners and brands alike".
The new additions to Audioboom's creator network include economics podcast 'Networth and Chill', education podcast 'Teachers Off Duty', and award-winning horror anthology series 'The NoSleep Podcast'.
Audioboom's Last said: "Once again, the most talented creators in digital media are choosing Audioboom as their podcasting partner. Each of the new shows coming to the Audioboom creator network requires unique support so they can successfully engage with their audience and see value from their creativity - the Audioboom platform is able to provide the technology, production, distribution and commercial services they need."
Shares in Audioboom were down 0.4% on Monday afternoon in London, at 378.44 pence.
