LONDON (Alliance News) - African financial services investor Atlas Mara Ltd on Thursday said Executive Committee Member Bradford Gibbs has stepped down from the company.
Gibbs is a banking industry veteran and is a 50% beneficial owner of Mara Partners FS Ltd, a founding entity within Atlas Mara. He is the former head of investment banking in South Africa at Morgan Stanley.
"We will miss Brad! Brad has decided to return to the United States for family reasons after many years abroad and to pursue his long-standing interest in education and policy. We are pleased that the world of public service will benefit from Brad's qualities," said John Vitalo, Atlas Mara's chief executive.
Atlas Mara shares were untraded early Thursday, having last traded at USD3.90.
