LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 100-listed pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca PLC said on Friday that Non-Executive Director candidate Joseph Peter has pulled out of his candidacy for the role.
Peter's decision was said to be for reasons not related to the company.
Peter was chief financial officer of Nissan Motor Co for nine years until his recently announced retirement in May. He was responsible for Nissan's global finance activity including control, accounting, treasury, investor relations, tax and mergers & cquisitions support.
Shares in AstraZeneca closed 0.1% higher at 5,963.00 pence each on Friday.
