LONDON (Alliance News) - Assura Group Ltd on Monday said development work at the Ashby de la Zouch Medical Centre has started and said it has bought two sites in Trellech and Wetherby.
The Ashby de la Zouch centre in Leicestershire has been contracted via a forward purchase and funding deal. Assura expects the GBP4.8 million investment in the health centre to be completed by January 2016. It will comprise two occupiers, a GP practice and a pharmacy.
Assura also said it would buy two further sites in Trellech in south-east Wales and Wetherby in west Yorkshire.
Assura has paid a total of GBP3.5 million to buy the two properties, which have a combined rent roll of GBP210,000 per year.
Shares in the company were down 1.21% to 50.875 pence on Monday morning.
