LONDON (Alliance News) - Assura PLC on Friday appointed Jonathan Davies as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
The primary care property company noted Davies has served as chief financial officer at SSP Group PLC, which operates branded catering and retail units at airports, since 2004.
Prior to that, Davies was a finance director at operations board of American supermarket chain Safeway PLC. He also worked at OC&C Strategy Consultants and consumer goods company Unilever PLC.
"Jonathan has excellent financial experience, both operational and corporate," said Chairman Simon Laffin.
"Together with his strategic thinking and personal commitment to the NHS, he will also contribute significantly to the board as Assura continues to fund the transformation of NHS primary care premises," Laffin added.
Shares in Assura were trading 0.4% higher at 56.80 pence each early on Friday.
