LONDON (Alliance News) - Associated British Engineering PLC Monday said its main subsidiary, British Polar Engines Limited, is trading broadly in line with budget and has shown an improvement in profitability on the year.
ABE also said that the level of enquiries and orders at British Polar Engines is more encouraging than it has been recently, while its investment in Akoris Trading Limited has made a number of commodity finance proposals which are being assessed and negotiated with counterparties.
Associated British Engineering shares were Monday quoted at 135 pence, unchanged on Friday's close.
