LONDON (Alliance News) - Asian Plantations Ltd Thursday said it is still in talks with several parties that may lead to its acquisition.
The company had first confirmed it was in takeover talks at the beginning of March. Later that month, it appointed Strand Hanson Ltd as its financial adviser to seek buyers for the company and conduct a formal sale process.
In its statement Thursday, it again cautioned that there can be no certainty a deal will be done.
Asian Plantations shares last traded at 222.5 pence.
