LONDON (Alliance News) - Asian Plantations Ltd Monday said it has appointed Strand Hanson Ltd as its financial adviser to seek buyers for the company and conduct a formal sale process.
Earlier this month, Asian Plantations shares jumped after it said it was in talks with a number of parties that could lead to a sale of its whole business. It said Monday that it remains in talks with a number of parties, although it said there was still no certainty a deal will be done.
The company owns about 24,622 hectares of palm oil plantation in Malaysia.
Asian Plantations shares were down 3.2% at 230 pence Monday morning.
