LONDON (Alliance News) - Asian Citrus Holdings Ltd Monday said Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Tong Wang Chow has resigned due to "advancing age and to minimise workload", while Acting Chief Financial Officer Lau Hak Kin has stepped down to pursue his own personal business.
Tong, who founded the group, will remain with the company and will take up the post of honorary chairman and group consultant.
Ng Hoi Yue, an independent non-executive director, has been appointed as the non-executive chairman while Company Secretary, Ng Cheuk Lun has been appointed as the CFO.
Asian Citrus said Ng Ong Nee has been appointed as an executive director and CEO. Ng has been an executive committee member of the Chinese Enterprises Investment Association since 2013 and was vice president of the Hong Kong Australia Investment Association between 2007 and 2012.
The stock was trading at 664.50 pence Monday afternoon, down 1.50 pence or 0.2%.
