LONDON (Alliance News) - Asia Resource Minerals PLC said Tuesday that its operating subsidiary PT Berau Coal has increased its production quota for 2014 following extensive discussions with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Indonesia.
The Indonesian thermal coal producer said that the PT Berau Coal's production quota for the year has been increased by 1.85 million tonnes to 24.2 million tonnes.
Asis Resource Minerals said that it remains on track to achieve the revised production quota.
In June Asia Resource Minerals said it had continued to lower its production costs and that it remained on track to produce its target 26 million tonnes of coal in the full-year 2014.
Shares in Asia Resource Minerals were Tuesday trading 0.79% lower at 66.97 pence per share.
