(Alliance News) - Aseana Properties Ltd on Monday said it has appointed both Monica Lai and Nicholas Paris as non-independent non-executive directors, the two other board members have stepped down.
Lai and Paris are representatives of Ireka Corp Berhad and LMI Advisors Ltd, respectively, two substantial shareholders in the property developer.
Lai is currently the deputy managing director of Malaysia-listed Ireka Corp and formerly held a role at KPMG's Hong Kong unit.
Paris is currently a director and portfolio manger for LIM, an Asian-focused investment management firm. He is also a director at London-listed firms Myanmar Investments International Ltd and RDL Realisation PLC, a fund which invests in US loan platforms.
In the same announcement, the company said that both Michael Boleat and Ferheen Mahomed, two non-executive directors, stepped down from their roles last week.
Shares in Aseana were untraded in London on Monday afternoon, last quoted at USD0.49.
