LONDON (Alliance News) - Ascent Resources PLC on Thursday said it has raised GBP500,000 through a placing on the PrimaryBid.com platform.
Ascent has issued 35.7 million shares at 1.4 pence per share. Ascent shares were down 14% to 1.55p Thursday morning, shortly after market open.
The company said the funds will be used to meet its working capital requirements until the end of the second quarter, during which time it expects the final outcome of the review of its permit for the Petisovci field in Slovenia.
