LONDON (Alliance News) - Asa Resource Group PLC on Tuesday said its executive chairman has moved to the role of chief executive and it has appointed a new non-executive chair.
Asa, which owns a gold operation in Zimbabwe and a diamond project in South Africa, said Yat Hoi Ning has stepped down as its executive chairman and has been made CEO instead.
David Murangari, appointed to the company's board as an independent non-executive director in August, will become non-executive chairman.
Shares in Asa Resource were down 1.5% at 1.92 pence on Tuesday.
