LONDON (Alliance News) - Artilium PLC is focused on growing after swinging to profit in its last financial year, Chief Executive Bart Weijermars said on Wednesday.
Reporting a swing to a EUR18,000 pretax profit in the year ended June 30 from a EUR406,000 pretax loss in the prior year, the telecom software company's CEO said he was pleased to report a "stable" group performance despite challenging market conditions in the sector.
"Our focus now is on growth and aligning our current offerings with new business opportunities in the market," Weijermars said in a statement.
"The stable group performance and financial results form the basis of our next phase, in which a strong focus will be placed on expanding the customer base for the Artilium software products. In addition, Artilium is focused on growing its (mobile) virtual operator services offering. With the new cloud environment these services can be delivered across Europe in a cost effective manner. An overhaul of the commercial organization as well as new sales initiatives are starting to re-ignite growth," Weijermars said.
"Careful product expansion with a broader range of services offered to customers is part of the strategy to deliver a total solution to our customers who are increasingly focused on maximizing their focus on marketing and sales," the CEO added.
Artilium shares were untraded at 6.125 pence on Wednesday.
