LONDON (Alliance News) - Telecommunication software and services company Artilium PLC said Wednesday it has agreed to buy Livecom International BV and a 50% stake in its Chinese joint venture for a total of EUR512,500.
EUR450,000 of this consideration will be in cash, with the remainder paid through the issue of 880,460 new shares at a price of 5.38 pence each.
Shares in Artilium were untraded Wednesday morning. They last closed at 5.25 pence.
Artilium said the acquisition of Livecom is expected to be earnings enhancing in its first year.
"The integration of Livecom's business with our subsidiary Comsys offers a very exciting opportunity for Artilium. Comsys has already established Artilium in the call centre market and the addition of Livecom's application presents exciting new capabilities to that offering. Importantly this creates additional value to our customers and additional growth opportunities for us," Chief Executive Officer Bart Weijermars in a statement.
