LONDON (Alliance News) - Artemis Alpha Trust PLC Friday said its net asset value total return underperformed against the FTSE All-Share Index in the three months to the end of July.

As at the close of business on Thursday, the trust's diluted NAV per share was 343.24 pence per share, and the share price was 300.0p, according to the interim management statement.
Artemis Alpha Trust aims to achieve above average rates of total return over the longer term and to achieve a growing dividend stream.
Artemis Alpha Trust shares were Friday quoted up 1.1% at 303.25 pence per share.
