(Alliance News) - Cloud video editing platform developer Blackbird PLC on Thursday announced a new partnership with Arsenal Football Club.
Arsenal's media team will use Blackbird's technology to produce a variety of short-form video content for the club's fans, Blackbird said.
Content will include compilations of videos from Arsenal's "vast" archive, going out on the club's social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
The Gunners boast a substantial following on social media with 15.7 million followers on Twitter, 17.3 million followers on IG, and 1.75 million subscribers on YouTube.
Blackbird Chief Executive Ian McDonough said: "Having Arsenal as Blackbird's newest customer is a real thrill. Their video production teams have a fast-growing reputation of high-quality output.
"Like many teams with discerning global fan bases, they have distributed video creators across multiple sites. With Blackbird they solve the puzzle of working collaboratively and remotely while turning around high-quality content quickly and cost-effectively."
Blackbird shares were 10% higher on Thursday shortly before midday in London at a price of 11.55 pence each.
