LONDON (Alliance News) - Arria NLG PLC said Monday it has signed a development and licensing deal with MeteoGroup UK Ltd to create a weather report module for two regions in Europe with its natural language generation technologies.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed, although the company said the agreement provides annual licensing fees for the use of the modules.
Arria NLG shares were trading up 17% at 8.77 pence Monday morning. Shares in the company dropped sharply at the end of April after it lost its contract with Shell Exploration & Production Co, part of Royal Dutch Shell PLC, which it warned would lead to its full-year results being "significantly" below market expectations.
