LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural language generation technologies company Arria NLG PLC Tuesday said it has signed a preliminary collaboration project agreement with a global banking and financial services company, providing the firm a pilot scheme for the Arria NLG Engine.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Arria NLG Engine will be used to develop natural language generation performance reporting for the unnamed financial services firm's change management programme.
Arria said the successful completion and acceptance of the pilot application may lead to further development, deployment and licensing agreements for the firm.
"Financial services represents an important growth area for our business. Following a successful pilot application our intention is to progress to revenue earning contracts with this bank," said Arria Chairman and Chief Executive Stuart Rogers.
Arria NLG shares were down 3.1% to 47 pence on Tuesday.
