LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural language generation technology firm Arria NLG PLC on Tuesday said it will be developing three fully market-ready applications with its US-based partner Genpact Ltd, following the successful completion of initial prototypes.
Under the agreement, Arria NLG said it has been commissioned to work with Genpact to complete the development of the applications, which will then be rolled out to Genpact's customer base, initially in the banking and financial services industries.
Arria NLG will supply its natural language generation and other artificial intelligence technologies to Genpact, to be used to automate credit reporting, model documentation and validation, and financial planning and analysis for Genpact's customers.
"We are delighted with Genpact's decision to rapidly complete the development of these applications with a view to providing them to their clients as soon as possible. This highlights Genpact's recognition that our NLG platform has the capability to significantly enhance the operations of their customers," Chairman and Chief Executive Stuart Rogers said.
Shares in Arria NLG were up 8.2% at 20.95 pence on Tuesday.
