LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural language technologies company Arria NLG PLC on Wednesday said it has secured a paid proof of concept deal with the UK arm of an unnamed global financial services company.
The focus of the pilot will be to demonstrate Arria's report writing capabilities and the application of these within the client's reporting systems.
"We are pleased to have this opportunity to explore the expansion of our NLG capabilities further into the broader financial services sector," said Chairman and Chief Executive Stuart Rogers.
The deal comes after Arria signed a development and licensing deal with MeteoGroup UK Ltd on Monday as it seeks to shore up its business after seeing its shares plunge around a fortnight ago when it said a unit of Royal Dutch Shell PLC had cancelled its contract with the company, a decision which is set to have a material impact on its results for the year to the end of September.
