LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural language generation technology company Arria NLG PLC on Wednesday said it has received notice that it will be granted a six patent in the US.
The company said its patent application for 'Method And Apparatus For Updating A Previously Generated Text', a key component of its information analysis products, is to be granted by the US Patent & Trademark Office.
"We feel it is prudent to continue to lay the foundations to safeguard our products and critical processes, ensuring their protection, whilst also maintaining our position as one of the leading NLG and AI innovators," said Chairman and Chief Executive Stuart Rogers.
"This, the sixth US patent to be granted to Arria NLG, demonstrates our commitment to building unrivaled technology and securing greater long-term value for shareholders," he added.
Arria shares were up 10% on the news to 21.45 pence.
