LONDON (Alliance News) - Arria NLG PLC said Wednesday it has agreed to extend its existing licence deal with the UK government's Met Office for a further year.
Arria NLG's natural language generation technologies are currently used to write on-demand weather forecasts for use by the public. The extension agreement also provides for a new professional services contract to integrate site-specific forecasts into the UK Met Office's new web page format.
"We are very pleased that the UK Met Office is seeing great value in our technology and have agreed to continue developing this valuable public service powered by Arria NLG," said Chairman and Chief Executive Stuart Rogers in a statement.
