LONDON (Alliance News) - Healthcare company Arix Bioscience PLC said on Tuesday it has reappointed Chief Investment Officer Joe Anderson as chief executive officer with immediate effect.
Anderson first stepped down in September 2018 as chief executive officer after a two year tenure since 2016.
Executive Chair Jonathan Peacock will now become non-executive chair, and Deputy Chair Christopher Evans will retire from the board.
"Arix has rapidly built a strong, diverse portfolio and a top tier investment team who continue to build value, both in our portfolio companies and for our shareholders. We have benefited from Joe's focus as CIO over the recent months and the changes announced today build on this and reflect a clear shift towards a leaner organisation that will continue to drive the company's strong growth," said Chair Jonathan Peacock.
Shares in Arix Bioscience were up 1.5% at 165.50 pence on Tuesday.
