LONDON (Alliance News) - Ariana Resources PLC on Wednesday said it has secured the mining permit for the Kizilcukur gold and silver project in Turkey.
The project is closed outside the company's existing Red Rabbit project in the country. The mining licence will run to September 2022, with drilling now complete and sampling ongoing.
"We are very pleased to have received our mining permit for the Kizilcukur Project, particularly while we have been in the process of completing our recent drilling and sampling programme. Receipt of this permit will enable the company to complete trial mining on the project, as we look towards defining a potentially mineable satellite resource for our Kiziltepe operation," said Kerim Sener, Ariana's managing director.
Ariana shares were up 5.9% to 0.9 pence early Wednesday, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
