Arc Minerals Happy With Drilling Results From Zambia's Cheyeza East

12th Sep 2019 12:07

(Alliance News) - Arc Minerals Ltd has received further "excellent" drilling results from the Cheyeza East target in Zambia, it said on Thursday.

One hole found 1.3% copper over 32.5 metres, including segments with grades of 2.1% copper and 2.8% copper. Another found 1.0% copper over 17 metres, including 1.6% copper within that.

Executive Chair Nick von Schirnding said: "I am very pleased to announce another set of excellent, shallow high-grade copper assays from the Cheyeza East target area; these are of a similar tenor to some of the previous high-grade mineralisation intersected.

"These results confirm the very exciting mineralisation we are encountering at Cheyeza East and a high-grade core to the mineralisation and are some of our best results so far. These results have also been accompanied by pleasing shallow intersections and in line with average grades of some of the major operating mines nearby."

Arc previously reported positive results in August and July from Cheyeza East under the current drilling programme.

Shares were 0.8% lower on Thursday at a price of 3.17 pence each.
