Arc Minerals Continues To Intersect Mineralisation In Kalaba Drilling

16th Oct 2018 11:51

LONDON (Alliance News) - Arc Minerals Ltd said Tuesday it continued to see "very encouraging" results from its Zamsort copper-cobalt project in Zambia, after elevated copper intersections.

The company said that additional reverse circulation and diamond drilling from the Kalaba prospect, part of Zamsort, showed that mineralisation continued to be intersected in all holes drilled to date.

Four new holes from the prospect showed elevated copper grades ranging between 0.50% to 1.00%.

Chairman Nick von Schirnding said: "The results of our drilling programme continue to be very encouraging with these further drill results showing elevated copper intersections.

"The drilling to date demonstrates that at Kalaba the source and migration of the mineralising fluids has been quite extensive and we are now beginning to intersect some of the higher grade 'traps'."

Arc Minerals shares were trading up 0.7% at 3.90 pence each.
