Aquila European Renewables Income Fund Buys Rest Of Danish Wind Farm

(Alliance News) - Aquila European Renewables Income Fund on Monday said it has agreed to buy the remaining three wind turbines at the Svindbaek wind farm for EUR13.2 million.

Svindbaek is an onshore wind farm on the west coast of Denmark. The acquisition of the three wind turbines is by way of a further investment into Svindbaek Vindkraft HoldCo ApS.

The three wind turbines have 9.6 megawatts of installed capacity and have been operating since 2018, Aquila European Renewables said. The entire wind farm has 22.4 megawatts. It had made its initial investment of EUR25.3 million into the project back in December.

Aquila European Renewables shares closed 0.2% higher on Monday in London at 82.68 pence.
