LONDON (Alliance News) - APR Energy PLC Wednesday said that it has signed a six-month contract extension for its power project with a mining customer in Guatemala.
The mobile turbine power company said that its mobile diesel generators have served as the sole power source for the mine since the project began in January 2013. It is now contracted to run into the first quarter of 2016.
"We are pleased that the customer has again extended our contract. It is a testament to our ability to safely deliver the reliable power needed by energy-intensive operations such as mining," Managing Director of APR Energy's Americas region Tom Caldwell said in a statement.
Shares in APR Energy were trading down 3.8% at 115.25 pence Wednesday morning.
