LONDON (Alliance News) - APR Energy PLC Friday appointed Baroness Denise Kingsmill as vice chairman of the board with immediate effect.
Baroness Kingsmill previously served as the senior independent non-executive director on the board, a role she held since 2011 after APR Energy listing on the London Stock Exchange.
The Labour peer is also a non-executive director of International Consolidated Airlines Group SA, and sits on the supervisory board of German utility E.ON AG and the board of Telecom Italia. She formerly served as deputy chairman of the PwC advisory board.
"I have personally visited some of the group's operations and I remain amazed at the speed of execution and level of service we provide customers, helping them overcome their urgent power needs, bringing social and economic stability and improving their overall quality of life. The group's business model is truly unique, and levers solid business fundamentals that have resulted in a strong balance sheet," Baroness Kingsmill said in a statement.
