LONDON (Alliance News) - Apollo Management IX LP said Friday it lapsed its takeover offer for RPC Group PLC, following RPC's approval of Berry Global Group Inc's offer.
The agreement between plastic packaging firm RPC and Apollo has therefore been terminated.
At the beginning on March, RPC agreed a 793 pence per share deal with US-based Berry Global, having previously agreed a 782p deal with Apollo. The deals valued RPC at approximately GBP3.34 billion and GBP3.32 billion, respectively.
RPC shares were trading down 0.1% at 786.60p each on Friday morning.
