LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares in APC Technology Group PLC were trading higher Tuesday morning, after the electronic components supplier said it won a further contract order from Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC worth GBP2.1 million.
The contract is for APC Technology to supply energy efficient lighting to Morrison, as the supermarket chain continues to roll out the implementation of LED lighting in its stores across the UK.
APC said the contract is in addition to other contracts with Morrison, which have an aggregate value of GBP8.9 million, and extends the expected delivery schedule into the second half of the year.
Shares in APC were trading 2.2% higher at 57.23 pence per share Tuesday morning.
