LONDON (Alliance News) - APC Technology Group PLC on Tuesday said its Minimise Solutions business has extended its contract with Royal Mail Group PLC while its recently acquired EEVS has won contracts with the UK National Health Service.
The energy efficiency company said Royal Mail has extended the scope of its contract to include critical asset monitoring and an upgraded energy management system. It has also received an order for an energy audit and the installation of lighting controls for the first five of the next phase of Royal Mail's smaller sites.
"This enhanced capability is already bringing us closer to customers and we are confident that this will result in further and larger business opportunities for our group," Chief Executive Richard Hodgson said in a statement.
Meanwhile, EEVS, the energy savings verification company APC acquired last year, has been awarded a contract by the NHS Sustainable Development Unit, researching carbon abatement projects for the health and social care sectors, also winning similar contracts for NHS clients in Lincolnshire and Worcestershire.
Shares in APC were trading up 5.4% at 8.82 pence on Tuesday morning.
