Apax Global Alpha investee Wizeline picked up by Quebec pension fund

(Alliance News) - Apax Global Alpha Ltd said Thursday the Apax Digital Fund, in which the company is a limited partner, has sold a controlling stake in technology services provider Wizeline to Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec.

Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec is an institutional investor that manages several public and parapublic pension plans and insurance programs in Quebec.

Apax Digital Fund will retain a minority shareholding in Wizeline following the transaction.

The deal values Apax Global's look through investment in Wizeline at about EUR10.3 million.

Apax Global Alpha is closed-ended investment company giving investors access to Apax funds.

Shares in Apax Global Alpha were flat in London on Thursday at 211.47 pence each.
