LONDON (Alliance News) - Haydale Graphene Industries PLC said Tuesday Anthony Best doubled his stake in the firm to 8.3% in a transaction last Wednesday.
Best held 26.3 million shares in Haydale after the transaction, equivalent to a 8.3% stake in the 317.7 million shares outstanding in the firm. Prior to the buy, Best held a 4.4% stake in the firm.
Shares in Haydale closed 2.3% lower at 1.81 pence on Tuesday.
On Tuesday last week, Haydale Graphene said it had raised GBP1.8 million via an open offer of shares, though less than half the shares were taken up.
The company received valid acceptances for 89.1 million shares, representing 45% of the maximum number of shares available under the offer.
