LONDON (Alliance News) - Anpario PLC, which makes natural feed additives for agriculture and aquaculture, on Wednesday said David Bullen is stepping down as chief executive after nine years with the company.
Bullen, who will leave the company on July 31, will be succeeded by Richard Edwards, Anpario's executive vice chairman. Bullen joined the board in 2009 as chief operating officer and became chief executive in April 2011.
Edwards has been with the company since December 2006, originally as chief executive amid the reverse takeover of Agil, a natural additive producer for pig and poultry. He became executive vice chairman in April 2011.
"We are delighted that Richard Edwards has agreed to be chief executive to continue the development of the company in supplying global food producers with natural nutritional and biosecurity products to maximise animal performance and reduce disease risk," Richard Rose, chairman, said.
Shares in Anpario were up 2.3% at 358.00 pence on Wednesday.
