LONDON (Alliance News) - Animalcare Group PLC said Monday it received "positive opinion" from the Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use for its dermatology product Cortacare.
The committee recommended European marketing authorisation for the spray treating inflammatory and pruritic dermatitis in dogs.
The company plans to launch Cortacare in the fourth quarter of 2018 in seven European countries and international distribution network.
The product is designed to allow for high local activity whilst minimising side effects, the company said.
Shares were trading up 1.1% at 158.75 pence each.
