LONDON (Alliance News) - Angus Energy PLC on Wednesday said site upgrade work at the Brockham oil field in Surrey, southern England is complete and well intervention is continuing.
Angus said it anticipates the re-entry of the original Brockham-X1 well being completed this week.
The firm said it will issue a further update when the work is done and make a further announcement when in a position to evaluate the results of the well.
Angus has a 65% stake in the Brockham field. Fellow UK-listed oil explorer Alba Mineral Resources PLC, which is earning into a 5.0% interest in the field, also noted the announcement.
Angus shares were down 11% to 111.95 pence on Wednesday. Alba shares were down 5.1% to 0.37p.
