(Alliance News) - Anglo African Oil & Gas PLC has received further repayments from the Republic of Congo's national oil company, it said Thursday.
Societe Nationale des Petroles du Congo has paid USD600,000 to Anglo African, bringing the total now paid in 2019 to USD4.0 million. The state company now owes USD4.5 million to Anglo African.
The funds are for reimbursement of costs for drilling the TLP-103C well in the country, and wider development carried out by Anglo African of the Tilapia licence.
Anglo African shares were 9.8% higher on Thursday afternoon in London at 3.52 pence each.
