ANGLE To Launch Parsortix At Berlin Medical Conference Wednesday

18th Feb 2014 09:30

LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares in ANGLE PLC were on the rise Tuesday morning, after the specialist med-tech company said it will launch its Parsortix non-invasive cancer diagnostic system at a science and medical researcher conference in Berlin on Wednesday.

ANGLE's pretax loss widened in the half-year ended October 31 2012, as it focused on establishing widespread market adoption for its Parsortix cell separation system, following marketing authorisation in Europe.

The company said it will launch its Parsortix system at the fourth annual Circulate conference in Berlin on Wednesday and Thursday.

ANGLE's Parsortix system enables the capture of circulating tumour cells from cancer patient blood for mutational analysis, using a simple blood test to capture the cancer cells for analysis.

The group is now making the Parsortix system available for sale to the European clinical market.

ANGLE shares were trading 7.1% higher at 84.80 pence per share on Tuesday morning.
