LONDON (Alliance News) - Amur Minerals Corp on Friday said it has acquired a drilling rig and made two further capital equipment purchases for its Kun-Manie nickel copper sulphide project in the far east of Russia.
Amur said it has acquired and taken delivery of a Boart Longyear LF-90 diamond core drill, along with two new D9R bulldozers from US equipment maker Caterpillar Inc.
The equipment will be shipped to the Kun-Manie project over the winter ice road in March 2016.
"These purchases will not only be key for near term objectives but will be available for use for an additional 4 to 5 years and can be considered to be the seed capital fleet of the development of Kun-Manie," said Amur Chief Executive Robin Young.
Shares in Amur were up 2.2% to 7.9326 pence on Friday morning.
