LONDON (Alliance News) - Amino Technologies PLC on Tuesday said it has secured a contract win with North American internet protocol television provider Com Net Inc for a multi-operator roll-out of Amino's technology.
Initially, Com Net will deploy Amino's FUSION Internet of Things platform to four operators, namely Ottoville Mutual Telephone Co, Bascom Communications, Farmers Mutual Telephone Co and Sycamore Telephone Co.
Com Net then plans to offer the service across its entire operator customer base immediately after.
Com Net acts as both a hosting and service provider via its fibre network, and has an ownership base of 21 independent local exchange companies, one electrical cooperative and a number of other companies across the US.
Com Net currently hosts Amino's FUSION Home Monitor product, which is a self-install Wi-Fi device offering operators a revenue share model and enabling them to monitise the Internet of things platform with flexible consumer subscription models.
Shares in Amino were up 1.2% at 170.00 pence on Tuesday.
