LONDON (Alliance News) - Amino Technologies PLC on Thursday said its AminoOS software will power the delivery of IPTV services across a newly deployed fiber network in Bolivia.
The media and entertainment technology company said Entel, the national telecommunications operator in Bolivia, has begun a major deployment of AminoVU set-top boxes running on AminoOS to deliver IPTV services across its fiber network.
"Entel is a very forward-thinking operator with exciting plans to deliver new services countrywide and we are very pleased to play a key role through the successful roll-out of our AminoOS powered devices," said Amino Chief Executive Donald McGarva.
Amino shares were trading 4.8% higher on Thursday at 88.00 pence each.
