Amino Technologies Secures First Contract For FUSION Home Monitor

15th Sep 2016 09:01

LONDON (Alliance News) - Amino Technologies PLC on Thursday said it has secured its first contract win for the FUSION Home Monitor from a North American fibre-to-the-home network operator named Alliance Communications.

Alliance Communications provides Internet, cable TV and telephone services to portions of the US states of South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa and has recently extended its fibre network reach as part of its expansion plans.

Under the contract, Amino will deploy FUSION Home Monitor - a simple, consumer self-install wi-fi device that offers a cloud-based subscriber management system and will allow users to utilise mobile and web applications.

"As part of Amino's FUSION end-to-end internet-of-things platform, it also offers local DVR and cloud video recording options to allow operators to customize subscription models that best fit consumer needs," said the company.

No financial details of the deal were provided.

The general manager of Alliance Communications, Ross Petterick, said he believes the FUSION Home Monitor will be easier to use and set up than other home monitoring options, adding the value and usability increases through the ability to use FUSION with its video service and the option for cloud recording.

"FUSION Home Monitor was designed from the ground up specifically for operators - providing a converged service application that is deeply integrated across mobile, broadband and TV services," said Amino.

Amino shares were trading flat on Thursday at 141.0 pence.
