LONDON (Alliance News) - Amino Technologies PLC said Monday its live advanced-media software platform has been selected by C Spire for the roll-out of the US wireless company's internet-based television services.
Mississippi-based C Spire will use Amino's platform as part of a triple-play offering including broadband internet access, telephone and digital high-definition television services, across its 1 gigabit per second network.
The software platform is a media hub for multi-screen and multi-stream video services, including catch-up services, video on demand and social and user-generated content.
C Spire's fibre optic network is deployed in several major towns and cities in Mississippi, with more planned for deployment.
No financial details of the agreement were disclosed.
Shares in Amino were trading up 0.5% at 94.95 pence Monday morning.
