LONDON (Alliance News) - Water filtering services provider Amiad Water Systems Ltd said on Tuesday it has promoted Global Finance Controller Avishay Afriat to chief financial officer and to the board with immediate effect.
He will be replacing Irit Ben-Dov, who will remain as region manager for Europe, Middle East & Africa.
Afriat has been global financial controller for Amiad for ten years, and prior to that was a senior manager at audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers for seven years.
"We are pleased Avishay will be taking on the role of Amiad CFO. For almost 10 years, he has held a senior position in our finance team and has been instrumental in establishing the budgeting and reporting procedures we have in place today," said Chief Executive Dori Ivzori.
"We will benefit from his extensive experience of working with our subsidiaries around the globe as well as supporting our requirements as a public company, which will enable us to remain wholly focused on growing our business."
Shares in Amiad Water Systems were up 0.3% at 162.00 pence on Tuesday.
