LONDON (Alliance News) - South America-focused oil and gas company Amerisur Resources PLC said on Monday it has appointed Elodie Grant Goodey as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Goodey has been managing director of Saltus Consulting for three years since 2015, and prior to that was part of oil major BP PLC for 17 years from 1998 to 2015, leaving as head of Societal Issues & Relationships.
"I am delighted to welcome Elodie Grant Goodey to the board as an independent non-executive director. Elodie has a wealth of experience in social performance and working with stakeholders including at grass roots community levels, which will be invaluable to Amerisur. Elodie's appointment represents another step in Amerisur's commitment to improving its communications with all stakeholders and will positively impact the communities we work with," said Chairman Giles Clarke.
Shares in Amerisur Resources were down 2.2% at 12.32 pence on Monday.
