Amedeo Air Net Asset Value Rises On Aircraft Acquisitions

20th Jul 2018 17:46

LONDON (Alliance News) - Amedeo Air Four Plus Ltd said Friday its annual net asset value increased as it continued to acquire aircraft to lease or sell.

As at March 31 the company's net asset value per share had grown to 109.58 pence from 73.48p the year before and its total assets had increased to GBP2.34 billion from GBP1.68 billion.

The year before the company had ten aircraft, including those purchased post year-end. As at March 31 the company owned 14 aircraft.

The company's income was GBP219.2 million, of which 218.9 million was rental income from aircraft.

Amedeo Air paid four quarterly dividends of 2.0625p per share over the year, bringing its total to 8.25p.

"IATA forecast 2018 to be another year of strong passenger growth with passenger volumes currently moving upwards at rates between 5.0% and 5.6% per annum. Despite the slower start to the year in January, February's figures show a rebound to the start of the year's performance. Strong economic drivers, favourable business confidence indictors and continued capacity expansion are likely to encourage passenger growth over the course of the next year," said Chairman Robin Hallam.

Share in Amedeo Air closed down 0.6% at 105.32p on Friday.
