(Alliance News) - Amedeo Air Four Plus Ltd on Monday said its performance deteriorated in the first half of its current financial year.
The Guernsey-based investment firm said pretax profit for the six months to the end of September dropped to GBP5.9 million from GBP25.1 million a year earlier, despite income growing to GBP132.4 million from GBP125.8 million.
During the period, Amedeo declared two dividends of 2.06 pence per share, with one dividend of 2.06p per share declared after the end of the period.
"Whilst I am mindful of reporting a decline in the company's share price over the period and year-to-date, shareholders should be reassured that the company's assets continue to be well-utilised and their lessees are meeting all financial obligations on-time and in full," said Chair Robin Hallam.
Amedeo shares closed 1.3% higher in London on Monday at 79.50 pence each.
